Former Law Society of Kenya President, Nelson Havi, has delivered a sharp and cautionary message to Interior Principal Secretary Raymond Omollo, drawing parallels with the late powerful government insider Hezekiah Oyugi.
Havi warned that despite holding significant influence, Oyugi—who was once considered one of the most powerful figures in government—was ultimately used, abandoned, and met a tragic end.
“Ndugu Raymond Omollo, Hezekiah Oyugi was 100 times more powerful than you but was used, dumped and killed. In fact, he was poisoned like a fat rat,” Havi stated.
The remarks appear to caution Omollo on the unpredictable nature of power within political circles, suggesting that loyalty and influence may not guarantee long-term security.
Havi’s statement has since sparked debate online, with many interpreting it as a broader warning about the risks faced by individuals operating at the highest levels of government.
